Bringing in the heather

The heather has finally finished blooming and I'm preparing to bring the bees home, to warmer winter sites.

There's nothing quite like the smell of opening a hive on the heather moors.

The bees did an excellent job, considering the mixed weather.

So fortunately, we'll soon have heather honey and heather cut-comb back in stock (End of Sept).
